All eyes on Natalie Portman in crowd as reports of husband’s alleged cheating emerge

It’s all smiles for Natalie Portman.

The 41-year-old Star Wars alum appeared unbothered as she made her first public appearance since accusations she and director-choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied, 45, are working through marital issues following his alleged infidelity emerged over the weekend.

Portman was snapped smiling in the crowd at a Paris Saint-Germain and Clermont Foot 63 soccer match at the Parc des Princes Stadium in Paris on Saturday evening (Sunday in Australia), even being seen at one point greeting Novak Djokovic, who was sitting a few rows behind her.

Her solo outing, needless to say, has turned heads, considering it came only days after it was publicly alleged Portman’s husband of 11 years, with whom she shares two children, had been having an extramarital affair.

The infidelity was first reported in an article from French media outlet Voici on June 2, with sources later elaborating to People that the supposed affair was “short-lived and it is over.”

“He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,” the source claimed.

“Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy,” the source continued.

Portman and Millepied first met on the set of 2010’s Black Swan, which saw Millepied direct his future wife’s choreography.

The couple are notoriously private, however, Portman did gush about her husband in a rare comment given during a SiriusXM Town Hall interview in 2018.

“I met my husband on it, so I think I was in, like, dreamland,” Portman said at the time.

“He was teaching me to dance. You know, one of those romantic [stories]… It was definitely exciting and fun. It was beautiful. I don’t know about instant. It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, ‘Oh this is the person.'”

They married in 2012, after welcoming their son, Aleph, in June 2011. They also share a daughter, Amalia, who was born in February 2017.
