Howard County Police have identified two of the three individuals killed in an apparent double murder-suicide that spanned from Federal Hill to Columbia on Saturday. According to Yahoo News, Police said Rajaee Shareef Black fatally shot his ex-girlfriend, who authorities have not yet named, inside a home in South Baltimore. He then traveled to Columbia and killed his ex-wife Wendy Natalie Black.
Rajaee went live on Facebook explaining his issues with the women and the alleged custody battle he has been battling for the past three years. “Alright, Facebook, I never thought I would be doing this but I gotta make it quick,” “he said. He claimed that Wendy told people that he had molested their children and that things were really crazy during the live. He explained that his ex-girlfriend, who was carrying his child, threatened him, saying she wouldn’t let him see his child in a heated argument. Rajaee explained that he shot the woman in her head, which “felt like a dream.”
As the live continued, he said that he couldn’t go to prison, but Wendy, who caused his depression, was his next victim, and he would be killing himself too. Before the live video, he warned viewers, “Don’t play with people’s emotions, man, and don’t lie on these men,” he said, while abruptly entering the complex of his ex-wife while telling her, “Today’s day.” According to NBC, Washington authorities revealed that Rajaee had his two children in the car at the second shooting.
The children were found in the parking lot inside their father’s gray BMW X3, unharmed and out of sight of the shooting. Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison told reporters near the city crime scene, “This is a terrible, terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of these victims.” Want updates directly in your text inbox? Hit us up at 917-722-8057 or click here to join!
