Elizabeth Olsen believes that WandaVision will likely remain a limited series.
WandaVision kicked off the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with an intense fervor by not only being the first show in the franchise but also one of the most interesting, philosophical stories the series has dealt with. The series ended on a largely optimistic and conclusive note, paving the way for Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda to join Doctor Strange in his sequel as a more experienced sorceress. It has been relatively uncertain if WandaVision will get a second season but Olsen recently shot those theories down.
In a conversation with Kaley Cuoco, as part of the Variety Actors on Actors series, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if she’d be returning for a second season of WandaVision. Olsen’s answer largely confirmed that WandaVision will likely remain a limited series (the category it’s operating under for award functions) but things could potentially down the road because, well, Marvel can always change it up.
“No, it’s definitely a limited series, I mean, I’m saying that. I don’t know. With Marvel, you can never say no. Do people die? You know?” So, it sounds like that’s about over, but we’ll all have the memories of being confused by the show in the early run.”Ads
