Erika Jayne recently claimed she had no control over her money, but back in 2019, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she appeared to tell a very different story.

As the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star continues to suggest she knew nothing about her now-estranged husband Thomas Girardi‘s reported crimes against his former clients, a clip of Andy Cohen‘s late-night talk show shows the entertainer proclaiming she paid her “own bills.”

Reading a question from a fan on the episode in question, Andy said, “Ask Erika if she feels the need to cut back on her glam squad since her husband is being sued for a huge amount of money.”

“We got a lot of questions about this. Anything you want to say about that?” Andy asked, according to a clip shared by The Reality Rundown on Instagram.

“Uh yeah. It’s a lawsuit and you can’t comment on it,” Erika replied.

Although Erika declined to comment on the lawsuit against the since-disbarred attorney, she did confirm she was in charge of her bills.

“It’s a lawsuit and I pay my own bills. So no, I don’t,” she shared.

During last week’s episode of the RHOBH reunion, Erika insisted she had no idea what Thomas was doing financially, and she claimed that when it came to the money she was making, including her income from RHOBH, paid appearances, and sponsorships, she gave every penny to him or his now-defunct law firm, Girardi Keese.

The trustee in charge of the bankruptcy proceedings against Thomas recently filed a $25 million lawsuit against Erika, claiming she fraudulently received $20 million in transfers from the firm.

In addition to the WWHL clip potentially coming back to bite her, Erika is also said to be facing a “total nightmare” after attorney Jay Edelson, who claims Erika and Thomas embezzled $2 million from widows and orphans of plane crash victims, subpoenaed footage from RHOBH.

“Bravo does not want to get in the way of the legal system,” the insider told Us Weekly. “And Andy is “interested in finding out the truth about Erika’s money — and how much she knew about where it was coming from as well.”
