Kelly Clarkson continues to keep it real regarding her split from husband Brandon Blackstock.
“Glennon, you write about the public fallout from your divorce,” Clarkson began in the December 1 taping. “I’m obviously going through one right now. It’s horrible. There are so many hard parts. The hardest for me is the kids. That’s the hardest for me.”
Clarkson goes on to reveal she feels extreme guilt given there are children involved — she and Blackstock had two children during their six-year marriage: daughter River, six, and son Remington, four.
Therefore, to overcompensate, she takes on all the parenting responsibilities.
“I think as women we are trained — Alicia and I were talking earlier — to take it all on and you can deal with it and you’re fine, but it’s your babies that you worry about,” Clarkson said, before directly asking Doyle, “So what was the hardest part because you also did it publicly? That’s a hard thing, as well.”

The singer’s admission comes after it was revealed she will have primary physical custody of the children, who will continue to live with her in LA while Blackstock, 43, resides in Montana.
But it appears the level of conflict between the exes has “increased”, with the pair reportedly not seeing eye-to-eye on co-parenting issues.
“The level of conflict between the parents has increased,” read documents obtained by Us Weekly days ago. “The parties have a difficult time co-parenting due to issues of trust between them.”
