See Aaron Taylor-Johnson Return As Quicksilver For ‘WandaVision’ In Pic

He didn’t see that coming.

A new concept design shows Avengers: Age of Ultron star Aaron Taylor-Johnson reprising his role as Quicksilver for WandaVision.

WandaVision has so far proved to be one of the most fascinating projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it plays with expectations of both comic book fans and general audiences by subverting the sitcom genre. Fans were shocked to see the Evan Peters version of Quicksilver come into the fold after his appearances in the X-Men series from 20th Century Fox, with many theorizing that he’ll secretly be a villain in disguise. Other fans have wondered if Aaron Taylor-Johnson will also return as Quicksilver in a future episode.

While we saw Evan Peters don a Halloween costume version of the classic Quicksilver costume, this fan art puts Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Pietro Maximoff in an impressive outfit for a potential WandaVision return. The concept from digital artist ‘subi.ozil’ gives Johnson a dark blue suit with the silver lightning bolt across his chest in a design which would look perfect next to the rest of the Avengers. Check out the artwork below.

You can read the official synopsis for WandaVision below.

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe; WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness. Marvel’s Kevin Feige has said that the series leads into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision premieres on Disney Plus every Friday. Keep following along to stay up to date on all of the latest surrounding Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Quicksilver and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
