Sea search for missing man in Lancelin suspended

News Today || Headlines Today

The marine search for a Perth man who has been missing for four days has been suspended.

Matthew Phillips was last seen in Sorrento at about 10m on November 8.

But, the 49-year-old experienced freediver and kite surfer’s car was found at Grace Darling park in Lancelin.

While the sea search focused on the area has now been called off, police are asking the public to keep an eye out for any diving equipment in the water or washed ashore in Lancelin – or nearby beaches.
