Chelsea came from behind to beat Leeds United 3-1 at Stamford Bridge to take them top of the Premier League table. Patrick Bamford put the visitors ahead in the opening four minutes but the Blues then rallied and turned the game on its head thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud, Kurt Zouma and Christian Pulisic. Express Sport takes a look at how the individual players fared.
Had no chance with the goal but this was one of his tougher tests as Leeds peppered him.
Great cross for Giroud’s goal – superb as ever going forward but some dodgy moments defensively.
Got badly caught out for the opening goal as Bamford got in behind him. Recovered well though, and superb header for second goal.
Cool and commanding as ever. Used the ball so well and his touch is immaculate.
Tested as Leeds’ pace asked questions of him – but classy touch got him out of trouble steal times.
Still needs to get into the rhythm of the Premier League. Gave the ball away too often.
Mopped up as well as ever and got forward well. Leeds very busy midfield kept him occupied.
Buzzed about and got forward well. Good skills and caused Leeds problems – accurate corner for second goal.
Helped set up Giroud’s goal – but then limped off.
Lampard had to start him, didn’t he after four goals in midweek? And the Frenchman did not disappoint with a 13th goal in 13 starts. Led the line superbly.
Somehow fluffed an open goal and has gone off the boil a bit but works so hard and lovely touch.
Pulisic 7 (on for Ziyech 29)
Kovacic 6 (on for Havertz 66)
Abraham 6 (on for Giroud 79)
