Who’s Playing

Chicago @ Milwaukee

Current Records: Chicago 28-15; Milwaukee 28-19

What to Know

Get ready for a Central Division battle as the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks will face off at 8 p.m. ET Friday at Fiserv Forum. Chicago isn’t expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn’t stop them last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.

The Bulls didn’t have too much trouble with the Cleveland Cavaliers at home on Wednesday as they won 117-104. Chicago’s success was spearheaded by the efforts of point guard Ayo Dosunmu, who had 18 points and eight assists, and small forward DeMar DeRozan, who had 30 points and seven assists.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee had enough points to win and then some against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, taking their contest 126-114. Milwaukee relied on the efforts of power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who posted a double-double on 33 points and 15 rebounds in addition to seven dimes, and small forward Khris Middleton, who had 27 points and seven assists along with seven boards.

Chicago is now 28-15 while the Bucks sit at 28-19. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Bulls enter the matchup with a 47.50% field goal percentage, which is the best in the league. But Milwaukee have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 43.80%, which places them third in the league. We’ll see which of these strengths — offense or defense — will win out.
