NFL DFS for Week 12: Optimal DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks, lineups, stacks

News Post || News Now

With 2,699 yards and 22 touchdowns, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is starting to look like a shoo-in for NFL Rookie of the Year after Joe Burrow’s season ended with a torn ACL last week. This week, Herbert draws one of the softest NFL DFS matchups against the Bills, who were a top-five defense a year ago but are 20th in scoring defense and 17th in pass defense in 2020. Should Herbert be among your Week 12 NFL DFS picks when he visits Buffalo for the first time?

With a shortened NFL DFS player pool thanks to a pair of Thanksgiving games, using the optimal NFL DFS strategy is key. Before locking in any daily Fantasy football picks on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel in Week 12, be sure to see the top daily Fantasy football picks, NFL DFS advice and strategy from SportsLine’s Mike McClure, a DFS pro who has won almost $2 million.

McClure crushed his NFL DFS picks in 2019, finishing as high as the top 1 percent of tournaments on DraftKings and returning as much as 40x return in some higher-stakes tournaments. He then continued his roll in the postseason, cashing on every single lineup he posted for the divisional round. Anyone who followed him saw some huge returns.

In Week 11, McClure had Saints quarterback Taysom Hill in his player pool for both FanDuel and DraftKings: The result: Hill passed for 233 yards and rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns in his first NFL start at QB, returning over 25 Fantasy points on both sites. Anybody who had him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Week 12 NFL schedule and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 12

One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Week 12 is Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs ($7,900 on FanDuel, $7,600 on DraftKings). When Diggs was traded from Minnesota to Buffalo, some Fantasy football analysts expressed concern about his production.

However, Diggs has 73 catches for 906 yards and four touchdowns already this season and reached double-digit points on DraftKings in every game. The Chargers have allowed 20 passing touchdowns this season (24th in the NFL), so Diggs, who owns the league’s fifth-highest target share (28.5 percent), has sky-high potential.

McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy also involves rostering Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen ($8,200 on FanDuel, $8,000 on DraftKings). Allen’s 19 targets in Week 11 were the third-most any player has received so far this season, while his 16 receptions were the most by any receiver this season and the eighth-most of all-time.

Allen has now been targeted a league-leading 112 times, while his 30.4 percent target share is the second-highest in the league. The Bills are favored by 5.5 points on Sunday, so the Chargers should throw it early and often.

Buffalo has allowed at least 100 yards and a touchdown to No. 1 receivers in each of the last two games. Fire up Allen as one of the top NFL DFS picks of the entire slate.

How to set NFL DFS lineups for Week 12

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers in Week 12 because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
