Five-star outing from Lee as Knights rout Titans

The Newcastle Knights have eased to their fifth win of the season, beating the Gold Coast Titans 38-12 at home.

Edrick Lee was the star for the Knights, scoring a first-half hat-trick and ending up with five scores for the match as Newcastle produced an eight-try-to-two performance in wet conditions.

The game was all but over by half-time with the score 22-0 to the home side.

The Titans struck back with tries to AJ Brimson and Greg Marzhew, but that was the last big moment from the visitors.

Gold Coast’s Jarrod Wallace was sent off with 10 minutes left for a dump tackle, while David Klemmer also had an early mark as he was sin-binned for 10 minutes for a scuffle following the same incident.
