Aldi Australia is set to sell a range of truffles for just $6.99.
Home cooks will be able to turn boring meals into gourmet creations with the ‘Whole Truffles’ (25g) or ‘Truffle Salsa’ (50g) without having to spend a fortune.
The black truffles can be used for shaving over pasta dishes, scrambled eggs, paired with mushrooms or melted inside a cheese toastie.
The Burgundy Truffle range, which is sourced from Italy, will hit shelves on Wednesday, June 24 as part of the budget retailer’s Special Buys catalogue.

The truffles will be on sale on June 24, alongside a range of kitchen accessories such as a $19.99 pasta maker and an assortment of items such as a gnocchi board, rolling pin, and pasta cutter, with prices starting from as little as $3.99.

Foodies can make their own pizzas in the 23L air fryer oven, which comes with a 10-inch pizza stone and stainless steel housing, making it easy to clean.
The $149 device, which can comfortably fit on any kitchen benchtop, features a 10 preset cooking functions including dehydrate and air fry so you could roast a whole chicken or create fresh bread.
Shoppers can expect huge savings across the range, including $4.99 stainless steel gadgets and utensils, $7.99 lasagne dish, $4.99 pasta bowls and $19.99 wooden chopping boards.
Other items on sale include the $149 De’Longhli Distinta espresso pump machine, $17.99 LavAzza coffee beans, $9.99 extendable sink colander and $19.99 frying pan.
